We are fighting daily to keep our most valuable commodity safe, our attention. With 24 hour news cycles, social media, ads to buy this and do that, it can be exhausting. Nature journaling allows you to reclaim your attention, connection to nature and yourself. This is about information, not art, though with time drawing is a skill that can be honed. If you can make shapes, I can teach you.

Let me tell you a little about myself.

My name is Danielle Ivey and I am a naturalist and artist living in West Central Florida. I have taken my two passions and use them to make a better connection with my creativity and the world around me. Using pictures, words and numbers I can find a never ending plethora of things in nature to examine, question, and get to know better. This is something I think a lot of us would enjoy so I have made it my mission to spread the joy that nature journaling brings me to others.
